1991 Gibson Flying V ’67 Reissue Cherry – Vintage Player Vibe | Original Case

For sale is a 1991 Gibson Flying V ’67 Reissue in Cherry — a killer early-'90s take on the iconic 1967 model. This one has serious vintage mojo, honest wear, and top-tier playability. Comes with the original Gibson hard-shell case (one latch broken, but fully functional).

Condition: Very Good (8/10 – Player Grade)

• Surface scratches, dings, and finish checking
• Finish checking also present on the back of the headstock
• Superficial finish crack from the neck joint (does not go through—purely cosmetic)
• Wear on the V ends and some edge scuffs
• Case has one broken latch but functions well

Modifications & Originality

• Bridge Posts: At one point, the bridge was converted to an ABR-1 setup. The original Nashville posts were removed and the holes were filled with wood to accommodate proper ABR-1 mounting. The ABR-1 is no longer installed—a Nashville bridge has been reinstalled, but the original post anchors were not put back.
• Tuners: Replaced with Grovers. The original Kluson tuner holes were filled cleanly.
• Knobs and 3-way switch have been replaced.
• Pickups and pots are original.
• Nut has been replaced.
