The Ibanez AEG1221BOT takes the sleek, stage-ready AEG body and loads it up with the lush, chorus-like shimmer only a 12-string can deliver. Dressed in a Black Out finish, it’s the kind of acoustic that looks as bold as it sounds, whether you’re under lights or writing in the quiet hours.

Features

This 12-string AEG is all about comfort and plug-and-play simplicity. The slim AEG body shape sits close against you, making long sets and writing sessions feel easy and relaxed. The neck profile is built for smooth chord work and arpeggios, so those octave pairs feel precise rather than punishing.

Onboard electronics let you take that rich 12-string voice straight to an amp or PA. The control layout keeps things intuitive, so you can quickly dial in your sound without breaking the flow of a set. The Black Out finish gives it a stealthy, modern look that stands out onstage without screaming for attention.

Tone

This guitar delivers the classic 12-string swirl: bright, chiming highs with a natural shimmer on every open chord, and a full, piano-like spread when you dig in. Single-note lines take on a doubled, almost vocal quality, while strummed patterns bloom into a wide, spacious sound that fills the room. It’s the kind of tone that inspires bigger progressions, richer voicings, and makes even simple parts sound huge.
