Original Lacquer Selmer Mark VI Tenor saxophone.

Burnin’ tenor that leans towards the deeper side of the spectrum. It has that fast air movement and sizzle that these later serial numbers are known for yet, has a real depth and boom to the tone that really moves the room!

Beautiful original lacquer sitting at about 90% and amazing engraving all of the way to the bottom of the bow. Smooth pearls, speedy action, effortless altissimo, and Ohtani-Mode!! 神がかり

I got this from a super beast of a player that blew this with one of our favorite BlueNote artists.

This 219K has that MAGICAL VINTAGE MARK VI SOUND, RESISTANCE, & WARM BUZZ under your fingers.

I admit it…

I am into all of the “serial number voodoo”…

THIS HORN STANDS TALL next to my, 159K, 85K, and SBA (… and everyone agrees, the serial numbers crap doesn’t hold up).

I’m selling everything not in my main rotation… to buy MORE STUFF!!!

Ships in (I believe) the original tri-pak/ type (only the tenor and a clarinet compartment) double zipper case.
