Comments:

This Gretsch is a G6119T Players Edition Tennessee Rose in Deep Cherry Stain. The model was originally introduced in 1958 as the 6119 Tennessean, a mid-tier hollowbody in the Chet Atkins signature line. Following the end of Gretsch's initial agreement with Chet Atkins in the late 1970s, the model was rebranded as the Tennessee Rose. The modern Players Edition bridges the gap between vintage accuracy and modern performance, with the Players Edition featuring "ML" bracing and a thinner body for better feedback control and ergonomics. This guitar was produced during the modern "Golden Era" of Japanese manufacturing, known for high consistency and build quality superior to many vintage counterparts.
