This vintage Yamaha SG-40 plays and sounds great! These were only made for just a couple years before being replaced by later iterations of the Yamaha SG. The design appears to be sort of a cross between a Mosrite and Les Paul.

This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware shows normal tarnishing and the plastics have also aged from over time. The frets play great, with only normal play wear and the electronics work as they should.

The pickguard is missing otherwise this guitar appears to be all original..

Includes the pictured gig bag.
