For sale is a KILLER 2022 Fender Custom Shop ‘66 Reissue Stratocaster Deluxe Closet Classic in excellent condition and perfect working order. We just gave this beauty a pro setup with a set of 10–46 gauge strings, so it plays effortlessly with a straight neck, low action, and spot-on intonation. The original trio of hand wound 65 Strat pickups sounds absolutely phenomenal—rich, punchy and tons of character.

Cosmetically, it’s extremely clean and well cared for — in fact, calling it “excellent” might be an understatement. There‘s really not much to say here save for some light pick scratches on the pickguard. The frets have no discernible wear to speak of. 

Please note: this has the Deluxe Closet Classic aging treatment from the Custom Shop, so there’s some light factory swirling, surface scratching and tons of beautiful finish checking built in by design. See photos for details, and please excuse any reflections in the images.

Includes the original hardshell case (also in like-new condition) and all the original case candy, as pictured. This axe is really on point. In addition to it being in like-new condition, it just sounds great, is very resonant acoustically and plays so well, as you would hope an expensive custom shop guitar would.
