2017 Chase Bliss Audio - Brothers  Analog Gainstage #200 – Dual Drive/Fuzz Pedal

The Chase Bliss Audio Brothers Analog Gainstage is a highly flexible, fully analog dual-channel drive pedal with deep digital control. This unit is serial #200, produced in 2017.

Brothers features two independent gain channels, each capable of boost, overdrive, or fuzz. Channel A uses a JFET-based boost, while Channel B features an IC-based boost, giving each side a distinct character and feel. Both channels offer momentary engage/kill functionality and can be routed in a wide variety of configurations.

With six unique gain circuits and 33 possible routing combinations, Brothers allows you to run channels in series or parallel, change effect order, or blend textures in ways that traditional drive pedals simply can’t. Despite the extensive control, your guitar signal remains 100% analog at all times—the digital system is used strictly for control, automation, and preset recall.

Like all Chase Bliss pedals, every knob and switch is digitally controlled, allowing you to save and instantly recall presets, either directly from the pedal or via MIDI. This makes Brothers equally at home on a pedalboard, in the studio, or in complex MIDI-controlled rigs.

The Brothers pedal was developed through a collaboration between Joel Korte (Chase Bliss) and Peter Bregman (Resonant Electronic Design), combining Bregman’s analog circuit designs with Chase Bliss’s signature approach to deep control and recall—without adding unnecessary effects or compromising the core tone.
