This is the Guyatone FLIP Metal Monster MM-X, a unique tube-powered distortion pedal made in Japan by Tokyo Sound.

Unlike modern mass-produced distortion pedals, the MM-X uses a real vacuum tube, delivering a dense, powerful, and organic distortion with strong note definition and sustain.

This pedal is especially suited for players who appreciate thick midrange, tight low end, and dynamic response.

It responds well to picking dynamics and maintains clarity even with high gain settings.

The MM-X is no longer in production and is becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly in fully working condition.
