For sale is a 1950s WFL Ludwig 14" x 22" bass drum in Black Diamond Pearl finish in very good player-grade vintage condition.
This is a fantastic-sounding, classic vintage American bass drum with warm, full low end and tons of character. The Black Diamond Pearl finish looks great overall. There are some small areas where the wrap on the hoops is lifting or missing in a few spots — purely cosmetic and very common for drums of this age.
The drum features a rail mount and original spurs (to the best of my knowledge), and is structurally solid, fully functional, and ready to play.
From my smoke-free professional studio (Vose Street Sound). Used and cared for appropriately.
