Built in collaboration with bluegrass phenom Billy Strings, this D-28 blends vintage Martin mojo with modern playability. Based on Billy's 1940 D-28, it features the classic rosewood/spruce combo, forward-shifted scalloped bracing, and timeless appointments - but with a few twists.
The slightly shorter 25" scale makes for a slinkier feel, easier bends, and quicker picking.
The Modified Low Oval neck, 16" ebony fingerboard radius, and slim nut width all contribute to a fast, comfortable playing experience. It's a nod to the past, built for the present.
