The Legacy 810e Special Edition Heritage Burst revives a foundational piece of Taylor's history, channeling Bob Taylor's earliest square-shoulder Dreadnought design with striking, refined aesthetics. This model expands the Legacy Collection—launched during Taylor’s 50th-anniversary year as a tribute to Bob’s original, foundational designs—under his direct guidance.
This Special Edition features a deeper, square-shoulder body silhouette, which utilizes a deeper taper in the lower bout to significantly enhance the low-end response and overall presence. Coupled with a refined version of Taylor's classic X-Bracing architecture, the guitar delivers powerful low-end warmth, greater depth, and projection for a more open, nuanced voice across all playing styles.
Enhanced Comfort: The hand-friendly 24 7/8" scale length, a size occasionally featured in past Taylor dreadnoughts, serves up a slightly slinkier handfeel for easier fretting without sacrificing tonal richness.
Vintage Aesthetics: The custom Heritage Burst top finish features deep cherry-red undertones, beautifully complemented by cream binding on the body, fretboard, and peghead, with black/cream purfling.
