Behold the power and beauty that is this spectacular Fodera Imperial Elite! Fodera reached out to us when they had received a shipment of Chestnut Burl after several years of having none available, and we jumped at the opportunity to snag some of the best pieces they had to offer for a couple of premium builds. This bass features an exceptional Music Loft Select Chestnut Burl top over a Walnut body with an Alder tone block. The 3-piece Hard Rock Maple neck is topped with a beautiful Flamed Ebony fretboard that is adorned with Chestnut dots and is outfitted with blue Luminlay side dots. This bass is loaded with the Fodera/Duncan Dual Coils covered in matching Chestnut burl with a Flamed Ebony ramp. Early Chestnut builds from Fodera became the things of legend and lore, with a mid/late-90's one selling used recently for $26,500! So when the opportunity arose to bring this legendary wood combo to life, we had to make that happen. And in true Fodera fashion, every detail about this bass is exceptional in every way - both visually and sonically.
