This EVH Wolfgang Special is designed for speed, stability, and massive tone. It features an arched basswood body, a graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck, and a smooth hand-rubbed satin neck finish for effortless playability.
The 12"–16" compound-radius ebony fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets makes chord work comfortable and lead playing effortless all the way up the neck.
This guitar has been professionally upgraded with:
- Full Futone titanium Floyd Rose hardware
- Oversized brass tremolo block
These upgrades add significant sustain, clarity, and tuning stability over the stock configuration (approximately $400 in premium parts).
Loaded with direct-mount EVH Wolfgang humbuckers, this guitar delivers tight low end, clear mids, and rich harmonics. The EVH-branded Floyd Rose, R2 locking nut, EVH D-Tuna, and added push-pull bar provide rock-solid tuning, expressive trem use, and instant Drop-D capability.
