I purchased these hats from a woman who bought the contents of a storage unit here in Grand Junction, CO that belonged to the late Greg Marqueson Coy who was Frank Zappa's monitor tech and also ran the Joe's Garage rehearsal facility. You can see Joe's Garage in sharpie on both (one is faded.) I also have some drum hardware listed from the same lot. With this lot I also got some audio cables labeled "Utility Muffin Research Kitchen and " ICA Hollywood, California" with Frank's phone number and several items with the initials "GMC" on them as well as a sweet pair of Auratone 5Cs. With all this, could these have been played by Chad? Who knows. I'd say there's a solid maybe. No matter what, I'm certain they are from the Joe's Garage studio.
