Beautiful 1998 Larrivee D-10 For Sale

The great sounding, players grade D-10 would make an excellent addition to your acoustic arsenal! List price on the Larrivee web site lists the new price of a D-10 guitar at $5,000-$5,400. Here is your chance to pick up something you can actually play, for significantly less than half of that amount.

The features, and quality of build are second to none. From the spruce top, to the rosewood back and sides, to the Abalone inlays, everything on the guitar screams “work of art!” The ebony bridge, bone nut, and bone bridge are uncommon on today’s mass produced dreadnoughts. It also has a fully functional under bridge pick up, which I believe is a Fishman, but don’t hold me to it. Plugged in, or unplugged, the sound of this guitar is heavenly!!

This guitar was rated very good, because there is a top crack running North and South from the bottom of the top, to the bridge. This crack was professionally repaired at Jimmy Wallace guitars in Garland, Texas, by installing a couple of bonded cleats on the internal side of the crack (see photo). The crack does not affect the sound, or functionality of the guitar, and is barely noticeable (see photos). My luthier said that he repairs cracks like this quite frequently, in ALL brands of acoustics and once properly repaired, should not be an issue in the future. There is also a surface crack 3” long on the lower edge of the top that either doesn’t go through the top, or is captured by the bracing between the side and top (see photos). Other than some minor dings, dents, pick guard scratches and scuffs, most of which are not visible from a couple of feet away, this guitar looks beautiful! Fret wear is basically limited to the uppermost frets, and has approximately 90-95% life remaining.

The guitar comes with its original case (no key) which has some scuffs, etc. Other that that, the case is fully intact, and all of the latches function. I am including a new set of Earthwood Light strings, as well as an inside-the-case humidifier, which is vitally important to keep the wood properly humidified.

It is SUPER important to me to maintain my Reverb 5-star rating. If you need any additional info, please ask prior to purchasing so you can be sure you are receiving exactly what you expect. NO TRADES of any kind accepted, no returns, and shipping is limited to the lower 48 of the US. An adult signature will be required for delivery.

Thank you for your interest in this gorgeous instrument!
