You are looking at a unicorn. This rare Auricon E-7 microphone is a variation of the Electro Voice 630, that was produced by E. V. and sold to Auricon for use in the film industry for recording live sound in the field. It is low impedance, 250 ohms.
This microphone has been fully tested. It works perfectly and sounds really good. The original grey finish is very worn, as you can see in the pictures. Everything besides the finish is in excellent condition.
There are no dents, cracks, or breaks. The pivot is perfect and works like it's supposed to, the threads for both the microphone's stand mount and the cable connector are in very good condition, with no cross-threading, or issues. The print on the red Auricon badge is in fantastic condition for its age.
You will need a cable with a threaded Amphenol connector to use this microphone (not included).
