These came from a batch of Parker Fly parts that passed through Ludlow Guitars during a period when we were doing high‑end Fly repair work for NYC players. At the time, some Flys were being converted to conventional fingerboards, and these composite boards were removed in the process. I can’t verify which specific instruments they came from, but the construction matches Parker Fly fingerboards.
During that period, our shop was handling some of the more complex Parker Fly work coming through NYC — including instruments from well‑known players. One of the recurring jobs involved replacing failing composite fingerboards on certain Flys with conventional wood boards, a difficult and expensive procedure that only a handful of players were pursuing at the time. These removed composite boards came out of that same batch of repair work, though I can’t verify which specific guitars they originated from.
Dimensions: 18 5/8" x 1 5/8 (at the nut) and 2 5/16 (at the body).
