The Ibanez RGA742EX is a 7-string electric guitar designed for speed and heavy riffing, featuring the classic RGA arched top, a fast "Wizard II" neck and a pair of powerful Quantum humbucker pickups.

At its core, the RGA742EX features a Meranti body with the signature RGA arched top. This tonewood selection provides a well-balanced sonic foundation with a sweet, slightly scooped midrange that complements high-gain amplification.

The highly playable Wizard II-7 three-piece maple neck, maintains the thin, flat, and fast profile that has made Ibanez a staple for shredders. It is topped with a jatoba fretboard featuring 24 jumbo frets and offset white dot inlays.

Powering the guitar is a pair of ceramic Quantum 7 humbucking pickups, designed to deliver quick low-end response and precise note definition, ensuring that fast riffs and complex chords remain clear rather than muddy. The five-way switching system allows for traditional humbucking tones as well as parallel and split-coil configurations.

Other features include the rock solid F107 fixed bridge, black hardware and a matching headcap.

Turn some heads whilst getting some powerful 7-string action with this superb Ibanez RGA724EX 7-string electric guitar.
