The MA-5 features a self contained 5 watt amplifier which reproduces with surprising clarity and volume, yet can be overdriven to produce warm distortion effects rich in harmonics. The pre-amp stage of the MA-5 has both High and Low Gain lnputs which can accept signals from a variety of different in struments. Conltrols are provided for both Volume and Tone. An Auriliary Input jack (attenuated by its own Volume control) allows another signal to be amplified simultaneously.
A Line Out jack allows the MA-5 to be used as a pre amplifier, and can send the signal to a recording or mixing console. A headphone jack ls provlded for private monitoring or practicing.
The inclined position of the speaker in the MA-5 makes it ideal for table top use, and is also perfect for use on top of a keyboard instrument. With it's full range of features, the MA-5 is vitally essential to any touring or performing musician.
