Bang & Olufsen Beogram RX Turntable w/ MMC5 Cartridge, Original Box – Tested, 33/45 RPM

Bang & Olufsen Beogram RX belt‑drive turntable in good used condition, offered on behalf of a friend. This classic B&O deck features electronic 33/45 RPM speed control and a low‑mass tangential tonearm with CUE and PLAY buttons on the brushed aluminum top panel for easy operation. The table is fitted with an MMC5 cartridge, B&O’s entry‑level moving‑micro‑cross design that was standard on many systems of this era.​​

Cosmetically the unit shows normal signs of age, including light scuffs on the metal surface and dust cover (see photos), but no major cracks or structural damage. All buttons move freely and the tonearm pivots smoothly. The original Bang & Olufsen shipping carton and internal packing inserts are included, which is ideal for safe transport and adds to the value for collectors.​​

Functional status: The turntable powers on, the platter spins at both 33 and 45 RPM, and the tonearm cycles through start and return correctly. Because of the age of vintage B&O gear, the new owner may wish to replace the belt and have the cartridge inspected or retipped for best performance. Sold as‑is, with no returns, due to vintage electronics.​​
