This is a very nice sounding vintage made in Japan Yamaha L-8 acoustic guitar, made sometime during the late 1970s. The guitar is comprised of a spruce top, mahogany neck, back, and sides, and ebony fretboard.

This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The binding along the side of the body has started lifting and shows chips along the sides of the fretboard. The gold hardware also shows normal tarnishing from over time. The frets are used but still play well without any fret buzz along the neck, but the action is currently pretty high at the 12th fret as shown in the photos.

This guitar appears to be all original.

Includes the pictured OHSC.
