Beautiful hard to find guitar in solid shape for being over 100 years old. Doesn't look to have any headstock or neck heel cracks. Finish looks mostly original but I cannot be 100% sure. Original tuners. Bridge is possibly original. Tuners look original. Tailpiece trapeze is original but the string slot part was changed to a vintage Gibson one.
Structurally sound, but does have some issues typical of a 100 year old guitar thats never seen a luthier. The back is shrinking a bit, it was screwed into neck heel. Theres a crack running by it. Some areas where back and sides meet have shrunk a bit/are open. There are small cracks on the very bottom of the top left and right of the tailpiece. Fingerboard is very slightly separated in spots.
All this is over shadowed by the sound and enjoyment this guitar brings. Its gorgeous and unique. The action is playable but not low by any means. I have included a demo showing it off.
This includes a vintage but unoriginal case. It ships fully insured and packaged with care.
