Foxx Wah/Volume pedal – single knob (TESTED: please read)

This is an original Ridinger Foxx wah/volume pedal from the early 1970s made in Chatsworth California.  I’m the original owner, bought it new in 1972. It came with a lifetime warrantee so I looked up the company to see if they still honor the lifetime warrantee, but they are apparently no longer in existence, so no warrantee.

This pedal was used heavily in the early 1970s but I haven’t used it since. The circuitry can be viewed in the photo.  The single knob/dial is used to switch to one of the wah tones which are listed below the knob. This pedal is designed to produce more treble as you step down, and less treble as you ease up on the pedal. The volume is the opposite. The volume increases as you let up on the pedal.

I tested it today. The volume and wah both work.

The pedal sweep produces static, so probably needs to have the pots cleaned or replaced.  The single knob/dial no longer has the face on it (see photo) but doesn't affect the function.

It has a fresh 9 volt battery installed as of 1-6-26.

I'm listing this as "fair" because of the static during the pedal sweep.

It works pretty good for a fifty year old pedal, no warrantee.
