I bought this guitar in 1993 from Chelsea Guitars in NYC. It plays and sounds great - See the video. The frets, fingerboard and intonation are excellent.
A headstock repair and neck refinish was done by Chelsea just before I bought it - see photos. The hardware and pickups are not original. Pickups are Seymour Duncan humbuckers installed by Chelsea. The tailpiece is vintage (though not correct for this model) and I had the bridge carved in 1994.
At the pickup jack are four hairline cracks that seemingly were glued and sanded from a repair that I'm sure pre-dated Chelsea's work. There are also four screw holes that would indicate a large jack plate was on the guitar at one point long ago.
