This 1947 Bob West parlor guitar was made by Harmony in chicago. Unlike the many Gene Autry and Roy Rodgers branded guitars, this Bob West character seems to have been a fictiinal frontiersman invented specifically brand guitars. There doesnt seem to be a real Bob West. I think this creates a kind of cool mystery around these guitars.

This one has been restored to be a very good player. Please see the video below for a nice run down on what I did. It had previous repairs that needed to be redone. Its had brace work, fret work, minor crack repair, careful setup and lots of other stuff. Its a really good player now that is built to last, and it shows some age with plenty of mojo.

Its a 36" parlor. Solid birch top back and sides. Ebony fretboard. Original bridge and tailpiece. New ebony nut. New brass saddle. Tuners work great.

Real nice player with tons of style. Please see the video at the bottom of this listing.

Thanks
