One of a kind! This Stunning work of Art was created in 1997 by Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Yuriy Shishkov before he joined the Fender Custom Shop and was used by Yuiry as his “Resume” to show Fender what he was capable of. Then Custom Shop Boss, John Grunder, took one look and hired Yuriy on the spot. Guitar Showcase purchased it directly from Yuriy to help him out after he got in a bad accident, and it’s been in our Vintage Vault ever since. Check out the letter from Yuriy in pics for a description. It does have a small crack on the top by the volume knob that is barely visible and some dulling of the gold hardware. After 29 years it’s basically like new and truly a pleasure to behold. Beautiful Woods, Inlays and Hand Built Old School Craftsmanship at it's finest. Note: Yuriy went on to build the Benadetto/Guild Jazz Guitars that Fender was experimenting with at the time when they owned Guild. He then progressed to building amazing masterpieces of all kinds and now holds the position of Senior Master Custom Shop Builder at Fender!
