Fender Jaguar – Early 1966 | Sunburst | All Original | Near Mint

Offered for sale is an exceptionally clean early 1966 Fender Jaguar in classic Sunburst. The guitar was originally purchased from Guitarpoint and is in outstanding condition (excellent++ / near mint).

The overall state of preservation is remarkable: very little visible playwear, no weather checking, and no color fading. The Sunburst finish is deep and vibrant, something rarely seen on instruments of this age. Only a few tiny dings keep it from being classified as mint. The guitar features an exceptionally flamed neck. A factory body mark suggests that this instrument may have been built specifically for a guitar show.

This Jaguar is 100% original and untouched: no replaced parts, original solder joints intact, exactly as it left the Fender factory. The pot codes read 304.65.30 (30th week of 1965), and the neck stamp is “15 FEB 66 B”—a textbook example of an early ’66 Jaguar with classic Pre-CBS specs.

In terms of playability and tone, the guitar fully lives up to its appearance: lively, responsive, and well balanced, delivering the unmistakable Jaguar snap and clarity one expects from such a well-preserved instrument. The two original grey bottom single coils measure 5.74 kΩ (neck) and 6.25 kΩ (bridge).

Includes the original black Fender tolex case.

A rare opportunity to acquire a true vintage Jaguar in exceptional all-original condition—collector grade. Additional detailed photos are available upon request.
