Built by Argentinian luthier, Mateo Crespi in 2010.
This guitar is constructed with a nice Red Cedar top with multi ply wood binding, and a solid tightly grained Indian rosewood back & side. Internally, it has Hauser style 7 fan bracing and kerfing that is solid at its base, slit only at the top. It has nice projection for a Cedar instrument (strung currently with high tension Savarez strings). Finished in French Polish, this instrument cosmetically has some blemishes but nothing too notable beyond surface level wear. The bridge is made of nice matching rosewood, with a unique scalloped bone saddle, standing tall with plenty of room for any needed adjustment.
The neck is designed with a standard 650mm scale length - the neck made of what appears to be Spanish cedar with an ebony fingerboard. The neck is nice and straight with action that measures to a standard 6.3mm in height at the twelfth fret. The tuners appear to be an aftermarket.
Includes original hardshell case.
