For sale is a beautiful piece of Los Angeles audio history: a 1954 Berlant Concertone 20/20 (Series 30) Recording Amplifier.
Manufactured on West Jefferson Blvd in LA during the mid-50s, these units were built to the highest professional standards of the era. They are famous today for their "overbuilt" transformers and are highly sought after by boutique builders for conversion into standalone high-gain tube microphone preamps.

• Aesthetic: Massive, iconic Berlant VU meter (untested, glass is clear).
• Controls: Dedicated Mic, Line, and Output knobs with original vintage bakelite-style pointers.
