Rare 1960's Calrad DM-18 Dynamic Microphone, works, original element, with stand

     Offering a vintage 1960's super-rare Calrad DM-18 Dynamic Microphone. These DM-18's are coveted for both a distinctive mid-century modern design and good performance. Calrad was a brand under the California Radio and Electronics Company, established in the 1900's. They specialized in  consumer audio equipment, including microphones, amplifiers, and accessories, catering to both amateur and professional markets. Most of their products were made in Japan and sold under the Calrad name. The DM-18 is part of their dynamic microphone lineup, appreciated for its durability, stunning design, and reliable sound reproduction.

     It's getting harder to find these models, and at the time of this listing, there was only one other being offered at over $100 more! The physical condition is quite good with only minor signs of use or wear. It functions at 100% clear output from the original factory high-z dynamic element, with a working on-off switch and original switch plate. The pivot joint holds the tilt angle firmly in place, with undamaged mic stand threads. It's hardwired to a 5 foot cable with 1/4" male phono plug, and includes the basic display desk stand.
