The process starts by hand-selecting and matching korina, mahogany, maple, rosewood, swamp ash and alder, classic timbers used for their fundamental contribution to instrument stability and tone.

Play a Fret-King Green Label and you’ll discover how each pickup, and pickup configuration, is carefully matched to the construction of each guitar to produce the ultimate combination of power, tone and clarity.

Great care and attention is paid to selecting the components used in the circuitry. Matching potentiometer values and utilizing quality switches and wire is of equal importance to any of the processes employed in building the ultimate guitar.

Last but by no means least, hardware.
