For sale my beloved Custom. 1999 was a great time for the Custom Shop.

This guitar has been whipped and played to death - is about as vibey as can be.

It's heavy - as you'd expect for a custom fitted with a Bigsby, but it's worth the weight.

I replaced the original pickups with Custom Bucker Alnico III which sound sweet clean and growly when pushed. The best thing about this guitar for me is how good it sounds clean into a Fender amp with reverb. It's really good at R&B/Stax Cropper style playing, I guess the Ebony fretboard just gives it a beautiful snap that makes you want to play double stops and chanky parts!

The Grovers work beautifully, and the guitar stays in tune really well which is pretty rare for a Bigsby Les Paul. The frets have plenty of life left in them.

There's been a headstock repair done at some point in its life, which makes sense given how much this guitar has clearly been played. It's been done really well and is absolutely solid. I can't speak more to that as it was done before my ownership, but it's given me no issues at all.

Dings and bashes galore - but it's real relic, which is much cooler.

I've attached a video of me playing this so you can hear how it sounds. It cleans up really well with volume knobs, and the bigsby arm gives it so much expression.

I'll be very sad to see this go, but needs must.
