Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome.

You are looking at a very nice and somewhat obscure microphone made by Aiwa back in the 1950's or 60's that comes with an original chrome desk stand, cable and box shown. This is a dynamic model with strong output and great for any Ham Radio and even better as a harp mic due to it's High Z setting.

There were quite a few Japanese manufactures that sold mics that were either identical with a different badge or virtually identical to the DM-14. These were small, lite weight, rugged mics that were easy to transport due to their compact size. This DM-14 has an all metal body with beautiful polished chrome grill and detachable stand.

This mic mic is very easy to cup in the hands which is why using this with a harmonica is a perfect choice. Again, the signal strength is very strong. Like new and has a dirtier tone to it that's void of bass. Like a crystal mic on steroids. The mic is omni-directional as well picking up a bit more background noise.

This mic has very lite wear as you can see. Just a very small paint chip as seen in pic # 7 that is hard to see from even a couple feet away. The Aiwa badge looks extremely nice as well as the front chrome grill. The mic is free of tarnish or any unwanted odors.

You'll notice that there is a built in cable. It's appx 10 feet long. Soft, pliable and as good as the day this mic was sold. You'll see that there is a male 1/4 inch end connector as well as the smaller RCA type adapter for use with specialized audio equipment. You've got several options.   This mic was stored in ideal conditions and should last another 70 years easy.

This mic comes with the original adjustable desk stand. It's in perfect working condition and has the mic clip in which the mic seats. The clip grips the mic firmly too. No wear on the stand or clip.

You'll notice that the original DM-14 box is also included. It's in fantastic shape and a great place to store the items when not in actual use. Very good for resale value as well.

This mic is easily an 8 + on a scale of 1 - 10 cosmetically speaking. It will make a very fine display piece and will great for using daily.

As with all my vintage microphones...
