Vintage Slingerland May Bell 4-string tenor banjo, made in the USA, circa 1920s. Straight neck, original hardware, and smooth tuners. Tuners have typical vintage looseness but function well and hold tuning once set. Head is in good shape. Normal cosmetic wear and patina consistent with age. No cracks or structural issues. No case included. Ships carefully packed.
Update: I've had a few questions about the construction of the banjo. It's a woody... it is a wood‑rim banjo with no separate metal tone ring, which will give a slightly warmer, less piercing sound than Slingerlands that have a brass hoop
