The DTX950K was the flagship of Yamaha's very popular DTX series of electronic drums, and when you see it in the flesh, you can understand why. It's built around Yamaha's new hex rack system — an impressive piece of hardware originally developed for the company's acoustic drum kits — and features the brand‑new DTX drum pads.
This substantial kit comprises six pads plus the DTX900 'brain', and offers some clever studio integration features with Steinberg's Cubase DAW software, demonstrated by the inclusion of a copy of the cut‑down Cubase AI.
**Included with the kit are Zildjian gen 16 cymbals, DW 9502/03 remote Hi-hat stand and DW 5000 double bass pedal
