Up for sale is a CoolZ ZST-M10R Stratocaster electric guitar in a very nice Candy Apple Red metallic finish made by the Fujigen factory in Japan exclusively for the Shimamura Music Store chain. The Fujigen factory is famous for manufacturing guitars in the 80’s and 90’s for Ibanez and Fender Japan among other brands. This factory has been very famous for their impeccable quality on fit and finish on all guitars they produced and continues to produce.
For some of you that are not aware, the Fujigen factory started producing guitars with their own brand name called Fujigen also (FGN).
This particular model features a unique and proprietary design for the frets called CFS – circle fretting system which greatly improves tuning, intonation and playability.
I imported this guitar from Japan a while back, never played it much all and never took it outside the house. It will be shipped in a gig bag but I will bubble wrap it before placing inside the gig bag. Sorry I but I did not get the tremolo arm with this guitar.
The neck shape is a comfortable C shape and it is not very thin but definitely not too thick. The back of the neck does not have the gloss finish where the hand is touching - only in the front and back of the headstock. The width at the nut is about 1 5/8” (42mm) and the scale is 24.75” (Les Paul scale, also known as "medium scale" in Japan) and as a result less string tension. There is little visible wear on the frets (medium jumbo) but there is plenty of life left, and the radius on the fretboard is a flatter 9 1/2”.
There are small light scratches and nicks but nothing major - I tried to show these in the photos. There is a finish crack by the upper neck pocket but not on the other side. All the electronics are original as far as I can tell and in proper working order although the pots and the 5-way switch can be "scratchy" at times. The pickups sound really good, like a typical good Stratocaster with a bit "hotter" output. The 2nd tone control is also wired for the bridge pickup which is a great feature. The factory plastic in the pickguard has not been removed.
The fit and finish of these guitars are excellent rivaling other more famous brands that costs way more. This particular model and trim has been discontinued and it is getting harder to find these in this condition.
The guitar weighs 6 lbs and 15 oz.

Sorry international buyers, but I'm only selling and shipping this guitar to the Continental US.
Since this is an older and used guitar, all sales are final - the guitar is sold as is. No returns! I represented this guitar to the best of my ability!
