Up for grabs here is an absolutely gorgeous Gibson Jimmy Page signature Les Paul Standard from 1996. These are becoming very sought after now not least because they were built in one of the great Gibson eras. This particular example is hands down the best looking Jimmy Page signature Gas Station Guitars has ever had in, with beautiful strong flame throughout. It has a top quality R9 feel to it. It was built in Gibson’s Nashville plant in 1996 which is before Gibson introduced chambering on their standards so yes, it’s non-chambered. It is in 100% factory original condition There is still plenty of life in the frets (never had a refret so still has its fret end binding), the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight and smooth with no dings etc. No problems either structurally or electrically. Unchambered weight is very, very light at 4.1kg. It’s 3 decades old now so don’t expect a mint sterile shop floor guitar, there are some bumps and scuffs etc but nothing bad has ever happened to it with absolutely no breaks or repairs etc. The binding and white plastics are starting to yellow and the gold metal hardware beginning to dull. Overall it’s starting to get a really nice vintage feel to it. It has some gorgeous natural nitrocellulose finish checking all over (pics.) It Comes with its original Gibson hard case which is a bit roadworn but with all latches functional & combi-lock working. Still has the green Jimmy Page signature silk shroud. Has all Yamano documentation and unused Jimmy Page signature Gibson scratchplate. A rare chance to get your hands on one of the legendary Gibson signature models.
