The 000-17E Black Smoke pairs vintage-inspired style with a balanced, expressive voice full of personality. Featuring a solid spruce top matched with mahogany back and sides, it delivers clear articulation tempered by a warm, woody response that suits everything from fingerstyle to strumming. Its satin black finish, antique white binding, and ivoroid pickguard create a striking old-school aesthetic that’s impossible to miss.
Scalloped X-bracing enhances dynamic range and tonal detail, while the comfortable 24.9” scale length and 1 3/4” nut width make it a pleasure to play. The Modified Low Oval neck profile promotes effortless fretting, complemented by an East Indian rosewood fingerboard adorned with classic 1955 Style 18 mother-of-pearl inlays. Aged nickel tuners and a modern straight-line rosewood bridge complete the timeless look.
