This amplifier was used in a carefully tuned tri-amped hi-fi system, where it powered our mid cabinets. It is a fixed-gain design (no front-panel volume controls) and therefore always operates at unity gain, with level controlled upstream via an active crossover. It was never pushed hard, always properly gain-staged, and used exclusively in a hi-fi contextfor curated boutique events — not rental or touring abuse.

Operation & Condition (fully transparent)

  • Functions perfectly and sounds clean, open, and transparent
  • Fixed-gain / unity-gain operation by design (no volume controls)
  • Power switch indicator light is finicky / intermittent
→ cosmetic only; the switch itself works normally and this does not affect operation
  • Takes a moment to power up and warm, then runs normally and stably
  • Rear fuse holder was replaced with a new unit and works perfectly
  • Cosmetically very clean with no notable scratches or blemishes
(could use a light exterior clean after storage)

Why This Amp

  • Transparent, neutral sound when run at unity
  • Reliable power for mids, lows, or auxiliary duties
  • Well-suited for active crossover systems, studios, installs, or hi-fi builds
  • Straightforward, no-nonsense amplification

Selling as part of a system consolidation while upgrading to a new DIY speaker build.
