The S.U.B by Sterling Axis, White w/ Black Binding has the smooth, sleek appearance of the classic Music Man Axis that was popular in the early 90s with its curvaceous, single cutaway body. The maple neck allows for quick, smooth navigation of the fingerboard and delivers a bright, twangy sound, whilst the fingerboard is made from jatoba, which enhances the sound with excellent clarity and good levels of warmth. The AX3's body is crafted from mahogany, for a rich and resonant tone that delivers plenty of grind and bite, and it is powered by a pair of SBMM Humbuckers for a heavy, well-rounded sound. The S.U.B by Sterling Axis 3 is also equipped with a vintage style Fulcrum Tremolo which allows full control over dive-bombs.

Music Man Electronics & Hardware

Equipped with a pair of creamy Music Man Humbuckers, the Sterling Axis' bridge pickup offers an excellent midrange and is incredibly full sounding. The neck pickup produces a heavier, rich sound, and with 5-way switching you can create the perfect mix of tones for a dynamic performance. The vintage Fulcrum Tremolo bridge is paired with the die cast tuners to keep your tone steady and stable despite the amount of aggressive pitch-bending and dive bombs.

Maple Neck & Jatoba Fingerboard

The AX3S's neck is made from hard maple, which provides bright tones with plenty of twang, as well as excellent levels of sustain. The maple brings tight tones with sizzling highs, and the smooth feel allows fast navigation between notes. The neck is bolted on which brings added snap, and is also paired with a jatoba fingerboard. The jatoba enhances the guitar with good sonic warmth and a clear ringing tone, as well as a beautiful, natural wood grain.

Crafted With Basswood Body

The basswood body means that the AX3S is lightweight and is easy to rock with during those long gig nights or studio sessions. The S.U.B By Sterling Axis delivers good dynamics and excellent definition, perfect for creating a versatile and focused performance.
