The Old Blood Noise Endeavors Dark Star is a deeply characterful lo-fi soundscape reverb built for texture, movement, and atmosphere. Designed with slow attacks, pad generation, and experimental processing in mind, Dark Star behaves less like a traditional reverb and more like an instrument in its own right.

At its core is a lush reverb voice surrounded by tools for pitch shifting, signal degradation, filtering, added delay, and feedback shaping. Two independent pitch shifters allow intervals ranging from –2 octaves to +2 octaves, while controls like Crush, Lag, and Multiply introduce grit, smearing, and evolving motion. Whether placed early in your chain for synth-like swelling textures or later for massive ambient trails, Dark Star thrives anywhere you put it.

With stereo I/O, presets, expression control over every parameter, and full MIDI implementation, Dark Star integrates seamlessly into modern pedalboards, studio rigs, and MIDI-controlled setups.

• Decay – Reverb trail length
• Volume – Overall output level
• Mix – Dry/wet blend
• Spread – Stereo width and panning
• Aux Switch – Sustain trails, close LPF, or set pitches to +1 octave
• Soft-touch Bypass – True bypass with minimal switch noise
