Zildjian New Beats Hi Hat Set 2004 Serial Numbers, Top is 1100 grams Serial Number JD 35722-034, Bottom 1460 grams Serial number JD 36706-175. Both show no signs of key holing. Or cracking anywhere. These Hi Hat cymbals are 21 years old. Their weight is impressive. And their history is somewhat known and belonged to Steven Becker, Drummer with Southside Johnny band. This is one set of 3 or 4 he owned. He was always very particular with keeping his cymbals clean and his maintenance is clearly seen in this set of cymbals. This set projects power with a bright, crisp and heavy sound when needed, Or a light and crisp sound as needed. Truly amazing it also represents the innovation of the time period.
