This is a beautiful 6.5x13 Ayotte Keplinger stainless steel snare drum with wood hoops handcrafted by Ray Ayotte himself. If you are familiar with Ayotte & Keplinger, then you know how rare it is to find one of these in this condition & almost impossible to find one in this size. Also, I have never seen another Ayotte snare with this finish on the hoops. It is truly a great drum that sounds amazing & looks equally nice added to any collection.
I am the second owner of this drum & it has been barely touched since it was artfully crafted in the 1990's. However, even well-protected instruments show some signs of age on lugs & hoops after 30+ years. With that being said, this drum is in excellent condition The Drum Smith drum case will be included as well.
