Up for sale is a holy grail for KISS fans and Gibson collectors alike: the 1997 Gibson Custom Shop Ace Frehley Les Paul Custom "The 300".
This is one of the original 300 units produced in the first year of the Ace Frehley signature run. Unlike the later production models, "The 300" series is renowned for its superior craftsmanship and meticulously selected tonewoods.
Condition & Features:
• Top: Truly exceptional. As seen in the photos, it features a deeply figured, 5A-grade flame maple top that dances in the light. One of the best tops I've seen on this specific run.
• Condition: Excellent condition. Well-preserved with minimal signs of play wear. The finish remains vibrant with a stunning Cherry Sunburst.
• Hardware: Features the iconic triple DiMarzio Super Distortion pickups, lightning bolt inlays, and Ace’s face on the headstock.
• Back/Plates: Includes the original "Ace Frehley" etched control plate and the Gibson Custom Shop toggle switch cover.
This guitar plays as good as it looks—fast neck, aggressive tone, and incredible sustain. It’s a true piece of rock history that continues to appreciate in value.
