Hurricane V-8 amplifier. I am building a limted run of four V-8 amplifers. The Hurricane Amplifier was a partnership between me and the late Harp Wizard Dave "Rock Bottom" York in 1998. I have found enough parts from the old days to build four more units. Based on the 5F2 curcuit, the V-8 amp puts out 5 watts into a 8" jensen speaker. 1-5Y3, 1-6V6, 1-12AX7. Added is a NFB negative feedback switch and a 1/4" speaker output that switches off the internal speaker. Originally marketed to Blues Harp players and is also used for the guitar. This is a tribuite to my old pal Rock Bottom. One year warranty on the amplifier 90 days on the tubes. Handmade in Sarasota FL. USA shipping only.
