This is a Fender Japan ST-57 manufactured at the Fujigen factory.

This model is modeled after a 1957 Stratocaster.

It has undergone practical modifications to enhance its sound.

The pickups are Seymour Duncan SSL-1s in the neck, center, and bridge positions.

Only the center position is equipped with a reverse-type SSL-1.

The controls are Sonic Turbo Blender 4.

Controls include master volume, master tone, and turbo blender.

The turbo blender control is set to 10 (full) for a standard Stratocaster sound.

With the PU selector in the bridge/bridge + center/center position, turning the blender control toward 0 blends the neck pickup sound in series with the standard sound.

Unlike the tone of a half-tone or humbucker, the sound is definitely thicker and more powerful.

When the pickup selector is set to the front position, the blender is inactive. However, when set to the neck + center position, turning down the blender gradually cancels out the sound of the center pickup.

All Seymour Duncan pickups and sonic controls are brand new.

The neck has a thick U-shape for a crisp sound.

As this is an older guitar, there are some scratches, but it is in very good condition.

The neck is straight and the truss rod works fine.

The frets are narrow, but about 70% remain.

There are no problems with the electrical system.
