The DP-3000's defining feature is its adoption of a quartz-controlled direct-drive system, which was advanced for its time. By driving the platter directly from the motor without a belt, it achieves rapid response and exceptionally stable operation with minimal rotational irregularities. Its low wow and flutter, along with its stability during extended playback, reflect Denon's design philosophy, rooted in technology developed for broadcast and professional equipment. This turntable is in Good condition, with some wear throughout, including some scratches and scuffs (please see photos).The dust cover also has some scratches and cannot remain open on its own. This turntable has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation. Both 33 and 45 settings work perfectly, and the platter rotation is like clockwork. Comes with SME 3009 Tonearm.
