Tom Scholz Rockman X100 Headphone Amp

This unit is in working condition with minor cosmetic wear. It has been fully tested and is working well. One owner and studio used lightly since the 80s. Great unit ready for a good home.

Scholz Research Rockman guitar module with belt clip-on, battery operated for headphone use. Primarily used for practice, this 80's headphone amp produced some iconic guitar tones on albums from Def Leppard to Boston.

Combining several switchable "amp" settings, this unit delivered a lot of modern sound. It packs a mighty punch for its size but the signal to noise ratio made it useless for a live date. Clean I and II plus edge and all out distortion combined with effects combinations like chorus and echo, just echo or just chorus, it was ahead of its time in functionality. Features included a -6, 0 and +6 output switch, on/off, amp setting and effect choices as mentioned and of course, the 1/4" input jack.
