For sale is an exceptional Martin Custom Shop 000-14 Fret, a collector-grade instrument built by Martin’s Custom Shop and purchased brand new by me from Lightning Joes in 2021. I am the original owner.

This guitar is in mint condition with no dings, cracks, repairs, or structural issues of any kind. It has been meticulously cared for since purchase and has lived its entire life in a stable, temperate environment in Morro Bay, California.

This week, the guitar was professionally checked over by Joe at Lightning Joes, where it was originally purchased. He installed fresh strings, gave it a full polish, and confirmed that everything is in excellent working order. It plays and presents as good as new.

The instrument features stunning fiddleback mahogany throughout (top, back, and sides), paired with tasteful quilted maple appointments and classic Martin Custom Shop detailing. It delivers the balanced, articulate voice the 000 body is known for—warm, clear, and highly responsive, particularly for fingerstyle and nuanced playing.

I’m selling only because I’m downsizing and moving toward a more travel-friendly, player-grade guitar. This instrument deserves a careful home with a collector or someone who can continue to maintain it at this level.
