Taylor / 1994 810

Taylor Guitars was founded in 1974 by Bob Taylor and Kurt Listag.
Unlike traditional acoustic guitars, Taylor Guitars continued to produce original products with a wide variety of body styles and unique pickup systems. In 2016, the company surpassed Gibson and Martin to become the No. 1 acoustic guitar manufacturer in the United States.

Taylor manufactures guitars and cases at its El Cajon, California, and Tecate, Mexico, factories.
The El Cajon factory produces models from the 300 series and above, while the Tecate factory produces the Academy series, 200 series, and Taylor guitar cases.
Separating the factories allows craftsmen at each facility to thoroughly manage and manufacture each product.

While the lineup ranges from 100 to 900, this time we're introducing the top-of-the-line 810, manufactured in 1994.
All Taylor models are managed by model number.
Looking at this 810, 8 = 800 series, 1 = spruce top, 0 = dreadnought size.
Also, some models have a ce or e at the end of their name. ce means cutaway and pickup-equipped model, and e means pickup-equipped model, but this model originally did not have a pickup.
You can feel Taylor Guitar's high-class quality and confidence in its sound.

Furthermore, the detachable structure from this period was different, with two bolts attached to the neck block (now there is also a bolt toward the end of the fingerboard, for a total of three).

The sound is characterized by Taylor's signature brilliant, extended sustain and widespread overtones.
Taylor's signature ability to stand out in a band ensemble is evident in this great sound, with a powerful bass and lustrous treble.

Equipped with your favorite pickups, this guitar can be used for both street and live performances.

Experience the charm of the Taylor 810 with your own ears.
